Ross,
Thanks for your reply to my query. Caleb Bell Mumby my grandfather was born 1871 and d 1897. He married Tamzen Spry 1890. One brother Thomas John b 1873 married 1896 to Annette Robinson and they moved to Toronto. Later he came back to Rawdon and erected the large stone on the Mumby cemetery in the Spry Settlement. He discarded the unreadable markers. All the people buried here are of my family line. Lillie May Mumby (spelled Mumbey on the I.G.I.} was a sister. She married a brother of Tamzen Spry. Charles H.Mumby b 1872 Springbrook was another brother.
He married Abbie Belshaw in 1901. Delbert their son b 1902 Springbrook d 1914. My mother Mary Ann Mumby b 1891, was a daughter of Caleb Bell Mumby and Tamzen Spry.
Would you have any info. on Caleb's brother George Mumby b 1866 d??? who married Elizabeth A. Eliver??/Oliver??. The certificate is unreadable for this name. Her parents were Peter and Catherine??? George had two daughters by this marriage and died a young man. Catherine remarried to a Gant or Gaunt?? and was living in Michigan in 1903. Vic.
