I'm afraid I can't help any on Elizabeth Mummert. All I can find is that she was the daughter of Detrik and Ann and that they emigrated from Germany in 1736.So far, I only trace my lines back to the immigrant ancestor.
I have Detrick Mummert's probate information (copy of the original). One section says March 26, 1770 and one says March 26, 1771.I'm inclined to go with the latter date, because it says, "The Admion & Acct of the Estate of Dieterick Mummert, deceased" and has the inventory attached.
I don't know if my Fickes information will help, either, because mine are all in the 18th century.I have two Fickes ancestors, but both of them are women so the name disappears pretty fast.I have traced them back to two immigrant ancestors who may or may not be related.Jost and Regina (Baier) Fickes came from Germany in 1737, and Valentine came over in 1729. I have pretty good information on both early Fickes if you can figure out which line you need.Another "cousin" sent me the name of a book which she found helpful:"Adam and Susan Fickas" family book compiled by Viva Fickas Freeman, Rayline Company, Santa Ana, CA, 1977.I haven't had time to try to find it yet, so I don't know how available it is, but it may be a start.
Good luck, Ruth
