Well now that just filled in a gap or two, love these posting boards! Where does your great grandfather fit in exactly?/ I have several children listed for Sanders and Mollie but I didn't notice Martin Sanders Murdock. But the latest information I have is from 1900 an on that census there is listed an Ira, Jessie,Elmo?,Ector,Lewis(which my father remembers this man) but that is it for the children listed unless I missed the next page or your great grandfather was born right after that. Feel free to set me straight since I know my information is sketchy at the moment. I also have a pitcture of Sanders Murdock if you would like a copy. He is very old in it and I am not sure when it was taken. I got it from my great aunt(still living) and she got it from her father Jessie Army Murdock(b:1887 d:1972 son of Sanders Murdock & Mollie). I have heard Of the Murdock reunions from my family. Once a year they meet at Murdock cemetary but when I dont know. I need to find out because I know they could have some interesting things to add to the family. I have never been to one but my grandmother and her sister used to go (both Murdocks). My father tells me stories of his grandfather (Jessie Army Murdock) and that he owned two cafe's one in TX and one is Colorado. He loved to cook and used to make the best bean soup my father ever had. I have a picture of Jessie Murdock as well inside his cafe here in TX. My father tells me he was a short man but was the best cook my father ever knew. He also said the Murdocks came from England at some time. Which would explain the shortness in height but also that there was american indian in there somewhere. I hear a rumor that Mollie was 1/2 american indian, but so far I have seen no concrete evidence. Perhaps you have.
