Edward Murphey

Still searching for parents of my Elizabeth Murphey b 1776 and married Isaiah Walker.Was Edward her father?He was in the same area as Elizabeth and her husband.The Edward Murphey I have found was in the Revolutionary War and also the War of 1812.He received a pension in McMinn Co.,Tn.Is this the man I am looking for?Does anyone have any more info on this family?
