Thank you for your response to my Murrell book inquiry.

In 2006 you posted #2881 to the Ewing forum that James Ewing married Mary Thompson in 1798 in Blount County, Tennessee.

In my research of a particular Texas William Montgomery line, there appears to be a connection there to a daughter of the Andrew Ewing of Davidson County, Tennessee fame.In his 1813 Will he mentions two male children, "sons of William Montgomery", and gives them the same $ status as his other grandchildren...implication could be that their mother (his unnamed daughter) is deceased.

This Texas William Montgomery is purported to also have been in Blount County, TN at the same time the above James Ewing was married.I researched Ewings in Blount County and found John, George, James and William Ewing on 1801 tax records.

My question is:Are any of the Blount County, TN Ewings related to the Andrew Ewing of early Davidson County, TN?

Thank you in advance for your time and attention to my request for information.

Respectfully,
