I am doing research on the Muse family lot at Versailles Cemetery in Allegheny County Pittsburgh.Records indicate this lot belonged to Fauntleroy Muse. His son or grandson also named Fauntleroy Muse served in the Civil War under General Alexnader Hays in the PA 63rd.The PA 63rd was with General Alexander Hays at Pickett's Charge.
The Muse lot is next to the Sill lot of Col Jessie Sill who I believe is related to Civil War Col Joshua Sill second in command under General Ormsby McKnight Mitchell of the Mitchell Raiders. The leader of the Mitchell Raiders James Andrews was hanged just outside Margaret Mitchell's father house in Atlanta.Margaret Mitchell father was Eugune Muse Mitchell and he was the head of the Andrew Carnegie Library in Fulton County Atlanta.
Again I am trying to connect these families to the Pittsburgh Selznick family of David O Selznick who produced the movie Gone With the Wind. The Selznick's worked for Warner Brothers Studios in Pittsburgh from 1895 to 1922. Warner Brothers moved to Burbank California around 1922.
