Mr. Vinson,I am sorry that I don't have specific information about Cynthia Vinson. However, here is what I know.My grandfather Joseph Wesley Musgrave came with his family by covered wagon from Wayne County, Illinois to Texas in 1874.He was living in the Wilson Chapel area where he met and married my grandmother Augusta Victoria Girod whose family had moved form Hallsville, Texas. They had ten children, nine of which lived to adulthood: Alvin William (my father), Quentin, J.W., Vivian, Virtha, Verna, Faye, Monnye, and Otha Lee.From the tales I grew up with I would agree with you that my grandfather Theophilus Girod was quite a character--he was a riverboat gambler on the Missippi River.I imagine my parents censored the stories they told.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Kyle
