Louella Marie Estell, 88, of Rock Island, died Tuesday, September 10, 2002, at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Chippannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family. Louella was born August 23, 1914, in DesMoines, Iowa, to Louis and Myrtel Musel. Louella married Fay L. Pomeroy. He preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 1954. She then married Frank D. Baughman. She married Carlos Estell on July 27, 1972. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2002. She worked as a cook and baker for the Rock Island Kings Daughters, Clevland Home, which later became Friendship Manor. Louella has lived in Rock Island all of her life. She is loved by her family and friends very much. Mrs. Estell is survived by a daughter, Audrey Solomon, Rock Island; sons, Michael Fay Pomeroy, Moline, and Del Baughman, Rock Island; grandchildren, Doreen, Mary, Kathy, Delmar Jr., Eric, Brandon, Michael; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, and stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and infant son, Ralph; and brother, Vernon and Carl Musel.
