Darryl and I have spoke about this before, but I have some new info.
John Nation and Judith Hensley Nation of Obion County moved to MO about 1827 where they appear on the 1828 Perry County tax list. There is also a Joseph Listed, apparently his brother. In 1829 will number 5 id filed in Perry County for one John Nation who leaves a horse to Joseph Nation and mentions Judy his wife. Joseph appears in the 1830 census with one son and one or two daughters, then disappears. This son of Joseph is probably the George Nations found in Stoddard County in 1850. The children of John and Judith include a Delilah who married a Dr Lee and went to Oregon. John's son Thomas married Adeline Hinkle. Her sister Elizabeth Hinkle had already married Thomas Nations, cousin to the above and a son of Nathan. Nathan by the way had one daughter Sarah who married Riley Boren, they died in Adams county Ill. Nathans tombstone says died August 1848 age 79 years. No I dont think hes old enough to have a child in 1784. All records indicate his wife was b 1n 1772 and they were married about 1795 in SC. Nathan is probably a son of Joseph Sr. John and Joseph above appear to be descended fromChristopher or John. There is a Wyatt family connection into the Nations in Texas about 1850, one of the sons of James b 1794 d 1873 gonzales co married into the Wyatt family. This James was from Alabama and is either a descendant of Joseph or Nathaniel, so I have been told. Steve
