Evidently there are more than just a couple of George Washington Naugles around.I have a George Washington Naugle born 1822 PA, son of John Naugle and Elizabeth Unknown.George married Mary Ann Carbaugh, b: 1823, d: 1891 Orbesonia, Huntingdon Co., PA.George was killed at the Battle of Antietam during the Civil War, and buried at the foot of an oak tree in Cold Springs, Franklin Co., PA, as he had requested.Children of George and Mary Ann:Louisa Naugle, no other info.Jacob R. Naugle, b: 8-6-1843 d: 6-30-1909 Franklin Twp, Adams Co, PA, m: Catherine Douse, b: 1840 d: 1880 daughter of Edward Douse, b: 1795 Bavaria, Germany, d: 8-23-1876 PA.Jacob and Catherine had son Edward Jefferson Naugle, b: 1873 Franklin PA, d: 1967 Mt.
