Dear Colonel Bertrand and Giles Montgomerie, I was delighted to read the articles you had written about your connection to the Netterville Family. I am also very interested in the family tree as I too descend from this interesting line. My Great Great Grandmother was the daughter of the 1st Viscount Netterville and we descend from the Davies of Galway side of the family. This morning after Mass a lady whom I know; who recently visited Ireland; gave me a print out of a Memorial in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church in Dublin. It was erected by Arthur James 8th Viscount Netterville to the Memory of his late wife Constantia Frances Viscountess Netterville who died in Paris on 21st January 1870. This made me wonder if soem f teh family had gone to France. The other French connection with our side of the Davies family is: my Great Grandfather's brother Netterville Routledge Davies married the daughter or niece of General McMahon who is the only Irish man to have his name on one of teh 12 entrance boulevards to The Ard d' Triomphe. I would be delighted to share information with both or either of you. S.V.P. Regards, warren Warren Adrian Netterville Marwick My mother was a Davies.
