Lynn, MA, Newhall Photos
I have the following photographs that were in my mother-in-law's files.They date from the late 1800s to early 1900s (at a guess) and were taken in Massachusetts, primarily Lynn and Boston.

Elbridge (sp?) Newhall, infant, taken in Lynn by Taggard, 333 Union Street, Currier Building.
Bertha Newhall, child, taken in Fitchburg, MA, by J. C. Moulton, Photographer, 368 Main Street.
Howard Newhall, teenager or young man, taken at F.E. Taggard, Lynn.
Sam Newhall, child, taken at W. M. Wires, 139 Broad Street, Lynn.
Helen Newhall, older woman, taken at City Hall Studio, Lynn.
Freeman H. Newhall, middle-aged man, taken by Diran, 98 Court Street, Boston.
There are also unidentified photographs:
a woman who appears to be from the mid-1800s, taken at E.S. Dumshee [sp?], artist photographer, formerly Washington St., now 58 Temple Place, Boston;
two daguerrotypes or tintypes, one of a woman in mid-19th century dress, the other of a man who appears to be from the same period;
a young woman with bobbed hair who appears to be in a dress from the 1920s, with "Phyllis [unreadable] (Fulks)" written in pencil and then erased.
I do not know if the unidentified photographs belong to the same family; there was an identified photo in the file that was a relation to my husband's family.
If you believe these photographs are members of your family, please contact me; I would like to return them to someone closer to the Newhalls and to find out what the family connection is.
