I have "The Newlin Family" by Algie I. Newlin. There is nothing in the book to lead us to our Willim Henry Newlin. Like James said, there is a large time frame between the "known" Newlins and the others that seem to appear "out of the woodwork".But there has got to be an answer some-where.Since Wm. H. was born in MD, I have been looking for Newlins descended from Nathaniel who might have settled in MD.Nathan was one, but too far back to connect.David Newlin ran a mill in Sandy Spring, MD. around 1800's, left for Harford County, MD, and ran a mill there at Fallston.Cannot seem to get a complete list of all his children. And it goes on.I must pick up the ball again and start looking some more!!
P.S.Also there was a Nathan Newlin who married Eleanor Waters in 1811, in Baltimore, but that was a dead end.Maybe we need to look in the corners!!!
