Have you checked the 1830, 1840 Federal census?Mary Ann won't be there by name, but she will be found in the household of her parents, enumerated by sex and age.That should give you a list of Newlins to work with. As you know the year of her death, have you checked to see if a death certificate is on file for her?That would name her parents and perhaps give their places of birth. Have you checked with the Lancaster Co Historical Society to see if they have newspapers that could help you with an obit?That also would have the info you're looking for. Is there any info on the death certificates of her children?That would probably give a more specific place of birth, other than just a state name. Mary is a verycommon Newlin name.I looked in THE MENDENHALL NEWLIN ALLIANCE, by Abel, but found nothing on her....none were listed as being married to an Isaac Hall, I'm afraid .
