I have a neat deed dated 5 October 1760 signed by the living children of Thomas Newmarch, blacksmith of Portsmouth, NH who had died. According to the Genealogical Dictionary or Maine and New Hampshire by Noyes, Libby and David, son Benjamin was thought to have died young. Not so. His name is on the document, and he is called one of Thomas's children. Further, it states that he appeared with the rest of those who signed. Thought this might be of interest!
