TILLMAN NIBLETT, born about 1760, was a Loyalist who fought, along with Soloman Niblett, Jr., in the Battle of Kings Mountain. He left Laurens County, SC after the war and was in Warren County, GA from about 1793 until around 1811.He went back to Laurens Co. and stayed there until about 1815 when he moved to Jones County, GA.Records place him there with Edmund Niblett in 1816 and 1820.In 1827, he drew a lot in Carroll Co. and his residence was listed as Monroe Co, GA. In 1827, he sold a lot in Laurens Co, SC that he had purchased in 1811 and his residence was listed as Newton County, GA. The Carroll County lot was passed down to the children of Edmund Niblett who died about 1826.I am looking for further information on the connection of Tillman Niblett to Soloman and Edmund Niblett. Any help will be greatly apreciated.
