Hi Dawn, I wasn't sure I would hear anything back I first started posting about the Niccum family around 1999-2000 so this is a surprise. So your grandmother was my aunt Ruth that's pretty neat and your mother might like to know I talk to our cousin William Niccum every now and again (I was named after my grandfather and William Niccum was named after his father who was named after his father).
Okay let's start with the bad news first, my father Samuel J. Scott Jr. pasted away in 1981 from health problems, my sister Susan K. Galler found out a couple weeks ago when she was visiting my fathers grave in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on the backside of his headstone was my mother info. and she pasted away in 10-04-2010 no obituary or nothing we had no idea what happened? After my father pasted away in 1981 my sister Charlene M. Eads and her husband Ron Eads pretty much liquidated my fathers/mothers assets next thing we know they are moving from here to there and we had no way to figure out where my mother was, they were living off my fathers social security checks and other assets is the best we can guess.(we are looking in to this) My sister Charlene is a breast cancer serviver, My brother Samuel J. Scott III pasted away about 6 years ago from cancer. So this pretty much lives my sister Susan and myself as far as we are concerned.
Me, I live on a small farm in the foot hills of the Ozarks in southern Missouri I raise chickens, garden, timber, hunt & fish, etc. and live in a home I built buy hand. I was married many years ago but never had any children. BTW (don't mind my spelling)
One thing I'm really interested in is if we have any Native American in our blood rummer has it that we do.
