There is a book at the (LDS) Church of Latter Day Saint's Library in Utah written by Henry Loren Kneisly b.1888.The book Kneisly Genealogy was published in 1932,it has 46pgs including names of 685 descendants and relatives of the earliest residents in America of whom records have been obtained,and references to 150 others believed to be related. A statement in the book by Dr.O.B.Kneisly says that Anthony Kneisly was born in Switzerland and imigrated to America with his to sisters in the early migration of Mennonites,in the later part of the 17th century.Which if true means that the Kneisly family was in America in the late 1600's before The Great Palitine Migration of 1709.They were later followed by Anthony's father and two brothers John and George Kneisly. John and George purchased land in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, on the Conestoga Creek,and settled there.Their brother Anthony settled in Virginia.Dr. O.B.Kneisly is descended from George Kneisly's grandson ,John Kneisly ,who settled in Ohio 1824.
