My father's mother was Daisy Nelson-Keeley. She was the daughter to Chris and Anna Sophia Nissen-Nelson. Anna's parents were Hans Christian Nissen born 1855 Denmark, and Wahlberg Cenna Petersen. They lived in Seatte, WA. they are buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Seattle, WA. Anna died in 1940 I have a picture of 7 Nissen brothers. This is a hard puzzel to figure out because they came from Denmark and spoke little english. On Anna Sophis Nissen death certificate filled out by her son, he says her fathers name is Niss Sorenson and mother Wahlberg Petersen. Sophia said her mothers name was Anna as have other family members, so I think she went by that name, unless there were 2 wives, one Anna and one Wahlberg Cenna.? I was told Hans Christian came into New York City bought a tickett and went straight to Omaha, Neb.
I have Hans and Anna Marie Hansen-Nissen born 1861 Germany or Denmark in town named Switzholdsten, had the following children:
RuthDied about 1940,Grover C. , Rose M. born 1895--97 died 1954, Edward C. born about 1909, Albert died befor 1941, Walter died before 1941, Harold W.born 1904... died 1983, Peter M. Died Jan 2, 1946, Herman G.died Dec 7, 1952, George W. , and James H.died 1940-1941.
Anyone know of this family? I certainly would like to see the Nissen pictures you have.

Thanks for any help with this family.
