Robert, Very interesting information. Thomas does write about Edmund, but if memory serves me right, only a couple times. We do not have all of his diaries, as Thomas III, from what I have been told, after inheriting from England, his mother made him pay her rent for the years of upbringing, he left for Colorado and many years later when my father's Aunt tried to search for information, the Noakes' in Colorado would not speak to her. I saw that prison was mentioned, who went to prison? Also, it has been a long time since I have read Thomas' diaries, but he was supposed to serve in the Civil War, but because his Consumption was bad by that time, he didn't serve. It has been quite a few years since I have done any genealogy work, but I will have to go through his diaries again. There are many newspaper articles on him in Texas, he was a saddlemaker. Also there are painings of his, one is of the Battle of Corpus Christ, and it is in the Corpus Christi library I beleive, I was lucky enough to find someone at the university that had a negative from when he took a picture iof the painting.
