Obituary: Mrs. Margaret Noblet, whose serious illness as a result of a fall was noticed in these columns last week died early last Saturday morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. J. Cavano on Washington Street. In her death has passed away one of the pioneers of this section. The deceased was born in Rothenburg,Germany;May 26,1814 and was consequently nearly 84 years old. In 1837 she was married to A. Noblet, and the following year they came west and settled in the town of Spring Prairie,Wisconsin. Here she resided until Mr. Noblet's death in 1872 when she came to Burlington and has since made her home with her daughter.
Mr. Noblet was one of the first to help organize a Catholic Church in this city in 1841 and for nearly 60 years she has been a devout and consistent member of the congregation.
She is survived by 2 sons and 6 daughters. The funeral took place at 10:000'clock Monday morning from the church ,Rev.
