I believe that Jonas was born c. 1839, in Upper Paxton, Dauphin Co., PA.He appears with Michael and Lydia as an 11-year-old in the 1850 Federal Census. Also in the household are: Henry, 18 Martin and Susanna, both 15 Franny[?], 10 [next page] Moses Noll, 8 Samuel, 5 Catherine, 3 Edward, 1
I have no information other than Jonas. The family moved to Tyrone Township, Perry Co., Pennsylvania, where Jonas lived until his death 1910-1920.
One of Jonas's sons (the one in my line, though I'm not sure which one) married an Emma, poss. Hohenschildt (as is written on the back of an old photo of my great-grandfather's).They had four sons:Ray G., Paul Edward, two others (sorry I don't have my notes in front of me).The father died before 1900, when Paul (the youngest) was only a year or two old.Emma and the boys lived with Jonas at the time of the 1900 Federal Census.
Paul married Katie Garman in New Bloomfield, Perry Co., PA, and they had a daughter, Mary Kathryn, and two sons, Ray Garman and Thomas.
That's all the information I have right now.I'm doing this mostly from memory, as I am at work and don't have my notes. But I also just started researching this line (with very little luck beyond Michael).I know that you can find some church records from Upper Paxton on ancestry.com for Michael and Lydia - baptisms for their oldest children, communicant lists, etc.
