The memorial service for David O’Brien will be at 11 a.m. today at Conger-Morris Chapel in Medford.
Mr. O’Brien, 61, of Gold Hill, died Sunday (Sept. 24, 2000) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 8, 1939, in Klamath Falls, a son of Wilson Henry and Mildred Elizabeth (Stillwell) O’Brien.
Mr. O’Brien worked as a ranch hand.
Survivors include two sons, Dino and Troy, both Medford; two daughters, Teresa Ochoa, Medford, and Margaret Lumpkin, Tallassee, Ala.; two stepsons, Terry, in Idaho, and Don Kewley, Redding, Calif.; five stepdaughters, Sherry Kewley, Shady Cove, and Wendy Kewley, Medford, Beesie Luke, Darenda Brown, and Tina Puscas, all in Virginia; five brothers, Jack Stillwell in Montana, Tom NOUD and Pat NOUD, both in Colorado, Walt O’Brien and Jerry O’Brien, both in Elko, Nev.; six sisters, Nona Powell, Chico, Calif., Mary Harris and Beverly NOUD, both in Texas, Bessie Meadows, White City, Jessie Ott, Anaheim, Calif., and Georgain Brand, Rogue River; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Billy Noud; a sister, Ona O’Brien; and one granddaughter, Courtney Ann Allen.
