Hi Debbie, thanks for the message.
I am still rather new at this family tree stuff so to date I have only gone vertically up the family tree and haven't done too much horizontal work.
The info I have got, which hopefully will provide a link to your info is;
Thomas Nurcombe had 8 children (in no particular order, Robert, William, Benjamin, John, Charlotte, Maria, Eliza and Mary). My line of decent is through John, who married Fanny Bellew in Llandaff (Cardiff) Cathedral. Not sure why as census records show they were both born in Wivey and all their children were born in Wivey. John & Fanny had 9 children (Albert, Robert Thomas, William, John, Florence, Maria, Elizabeth, Annie & Emily). Albert the eldest, married Elizabeth Poldo (of Italian decent) in Pembroke Dock. (His place of residence is recorded as the local barracks) and they had 7 children (Albert John & Florence May b in Pembroke followed by Edward, Agnes, Ada, Violet and Sidney b in Wiveliscombe). Albert John married but I have no details of any childen, Edward married but had no children and Sidney married and had one child - Caroline Elizabeth Nurcombe. Caroline married my father Herbert John Barnabas Gregory and so this particular Nurcombe line has ended unless Albert John had any boys.
If you want dates etc or have info that ties in feel free to e-mail me direct on [email protected]
All the best,
David.
