I have this family in a 1900 census in Millport, Lamar Co., Alabama (Joe A. Odom married to Belle (Loftis) Odom with sons Felton & Troy) and then again in Steens, Lowndes Co. Miss. in a 1920 census (with sons A.B., Owen, Ralph & Howard). Joe & Belle Odom are my great grandparents but I have very little info on them before this 1900 census. Joseph's father may have been an Alfred Odom/Odam with a mother of Mary C.??? which I found in a Lamar, Alabama 1880 census but I don't have anything to definitely substantiate that. I was just curious if any other Odom researchers on this board have any other info on this family or could point me in the right direction. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Here's a quick run-down on this family again which seems to have started in Alabama and eventually ended up in Steens, Mississippi sometime before 1920
