Hi, Denise - I've done a fair amount of research on the early Off families in Philadelphia while looking for my own Hannah Maria Off (see separate posting). I never ran into your Christian, and he is not in the 1850 census as far as I can tell, so I'm wondering how it is that you have him connected up to Bernard Off... Was Bernard's name given on Christian's death certificate? Where did your Christian live after his marriage?

Evidently died 1850 and administration of his estate is in Book Q p. 24, file 182 (I have not yet seen it)

Henry Off - A son, aged 4 weeks, died 10 Apr. 1839 of convulsions and was also buried in the German Lutheran Church Cemetery. No further mention of this Henry has been found.
