William Carrol was born 5/13/1846 in Tennessee to Alexander Officer and Lucinda Bohannon.His family moved to Missouri when he was a young boy. He came to Montana in 1872 with a wagon train. He returned to Tennessee where he met and married Fanny.

I would love to get more information on Alexander Officer.He's been my dead-end in the family search. Family history says our clan came over from England with Oglethorp in the 1700's (as indentured servants).Don't know if that's true, but I'll never learn if I don't get past Alexander.
