Married William Mills Turner 22 October 1876. St. Timothy's Episcopal Church Rox. Phila. Obtained the record at the Penna. Hist. Soc. "St. Timothy's marriages 1862-1923"
d/o William T. Ogborn and Elizabeth unk.
Emmeline's parents first appear in the 1850 census listed as William 'Oggborn' in Lower Merion, Montg. Co. Pa. William T. Oggborn24b. Ohio Elizabeth20b.Pa. Caleb2b. Pa. Jones6/12 b. Pa.
1860 Fed. Census 21st. Ward (Rox.) Phila. William Ogburn33 Elizabeth32 Calup (Caleb)12 James (Jones)10 Harriet9 Sarah5 Emm(a)line3
To add to the confusion there is a "Fathergill" Ogborn cited in the 21st. Ward, age 50 incorrectly stated to be born in NY. in 1810. I believe he is the same individual cited in the 1840 census for N. Liberties Phila. as Fothergill Ogborn, listed as a farmer.
The family appear to have been employeed by the Levering Family.
Emmeline Ogborn Turner is buried with her husband and children in Leverington Cemetery, Roxborough, Philadelphia.
Anyone able to confirm the origin this line? Thank you, James Turner
