I am researching the family of my great grandmother Clara Ogenfuss Kihm.
Her father, Henry Ogenfuss (06-1864 - 1930?) Was born in Switzerland.He came to the United States in 1888.He married Bertha Schneebeli around 1889.They had three daughters, two survived.In the 1900 census they lived in New Jersey with their two remaining daughters Bertha Kihm and Clara Furler.Bertha and Henry were 36.In the 1910 census, Henry and Bertha had been married 21 years.They and daughter, Clara, were living at 382 South Third Street, Paterson, Passaic County, Acquackamock Township, New Jersey.Bertha was 45 years old, Henry was 45.I would like to know where they were laid to rest.
Clara Ogenfuss (06-1890) was born to Henry and Bertha Schneebeli Ogenfuss in New Jersey.She lived with her parents and older sister, Bertha (Kihm) in the 1900 census.She met Benjamin Furler (08-1890).He was born to Benjamin and Bertha Furler, who were from Germany, in Pennsylvania.Clara and Ben were married after the census in 1900.He lived with his parents, Benjamin and Bertha Furler, and his sister, Bertha, at 278 Getty Avenue, Paterson, Passaic county, Acquackmock Township, New Jersey during the 1900 census.When Clara's sister, Bertha Kihm, died in 1922, they adopted Bertha's youngest son, William Kihm, and raised him in America.They did not have any children of their own.I would like to know where she was laid to rest.
Bertha Ogenfuss (08-1889 - 1922?) my great grandmother was born to Henry and Bertha Schneebeli Ogenfuss in Paterson,New Jersey.She had one surviving sister, Clara Furler and a sister that died young.Bertha married Otto (see) Kihm on January 3, 1910.They had three children:Otto Robert Jr. my grandpa, William Henry and George John.They rented a house at 321 South Third Street, Passaic County, Acquackamock Township, Paterson, New Jersey in 1910.I would like to know where she was laid to rest.
