I am looking for info on O'HEARN's who lived in Western NY in the late 1800's. My great-grandfather was Michael O'Hearn (1861?-1906).Michael first appears in the Albion, Orleas Co., NY census taken in 1892 as a 32 yr-old single man.He married Ellen Babcock abt. 1893 & they had 8 children (John, Edward, Ella, Beatrice, Richard, Leonard, Charles, Agnes) while living in Albion.Michael & Ellen are buried in the "Old" St. Joseph Cemetery in Orleans Co., NY.He is listed in the 1900 census as a 'head stonecutter'. In the 1892 Albion census is the family of Michaels's brother - Thomas (age 34), wife Mary (age 29), & children Emma (7),Harry (5), Marie (3), Clara (1).It is believed that Thomas later moved his family to the Lockport area. It is believed that the parents of Michael & Thomas were born in Ireland due to census notations.
Any info in regards to this family is appreciated.
