Zlatica, I cannot send you a scan of that ship's manifest, I only found out about Val through the 1910 census. He was a surprise, Grampa said that he only had 4 brothers. This Vabisko or Valdimir was listed as the eldest son in that census, having been born in 1886. This Val doesn't appear in the 1920 census with his family. Since Grama said he was buried in the same town that the parents are now interred in, I am assuming that he maybe passed before that next census. What would be some of the more common names that would have been similar to the two I gave you? Also, you said that all AL men had to sign up prior to WWI, does this mean absoultely all men, no matter what their age was?
