Dear folks: So far the misty trail back into NC, VA, PA, and NY does not show the O'MELIA nor the O'MALIA listed with a son named Timothy anywhere near his age if he in fact born in 1853 NY/IRE.
The we looked harder at SC and Charleston County for anything similar to the data guide north.We did see some skimpy data on various sites that did raise some eyebrows. The hardship in finding the full data in SC is more difficult to see online compared to their neighboring states.SC insists you view their records in person.
