If you haven't already, you may want to purchase a copy of Daisy O'Pry Shockley's book "The O'Pry Genealogy".It has been an incredible sourcebook to me.On page 32 and 33 of the book, it shows Joseph O'Pry in the 1850 census of Jackson Parrish, La. as follows:

Joseph & Carolyn attended Sacred Heart Church in Point, La. For one of their son's baptism, the sponsors were Theogones Daigle and Pelagie Daigle. After Joseph died, Carolyn married Antoine Fontenot.
