We recently came in possession of a Bible dated 1850 with the following entries regarding my wife's family.Benjamin ORGAIN and Samuel EDMONDSON (brothers-in-law) had moved from Lunenburg Co. VA to Montgomery Co. TN ca. 1810-1820.These are some of their descendents.
The Bennetta EDMONDSON is my wife's great grandmother & her namesake.Entries from the Bible:

Benjamin EDMONDSON was born March 15, 1826 Minerva E. ORGAIN was born October 7th, 1827 Bennetta EDMONDSON was born April 3rd, 1852 Benjamin Reps EDMONDSON was born Oct. 14th, 1853
Benjamin EDMONDSON departed this life November 2nd, 1854 Benjamin Reps EDMONDSON departed this life Dec. the 14th, 1874 Minerva E. EDMONDSON departed this life November the 10th, 1881.

"Died. At his residence last night at 12 o'clock, Nov. 2, 1854 in this County, Benjamin EDMONDSON, in the 27th year of his age. He was a kind and affectionate husband and father, and much beloved by all who knew him.He leaves a wife and two children, and many friends to mourn his loss."

Minerva ORGAIN EDMONDSON is buried in the Bethany Cemetery on Bethany Rd. in Houston Co. TN
Bennetta EDMONDSON DICKSON is buried in the DICKSON Family Cemetery on Bethany Rd. in Hosuton Co. TN
Place of burial of Benjamin Reps EDMONDSON is unknown but he is probably buried in Montgomery Co. TN since his burial suit was purchased in Clarksville according to the receipt found in his Orphan file at the Montgomery Co. Archives. This Bible is the first time we've seen his first name mentioned.His name appears simply as "Reps" in all other records found to date.
