My paternal great-grandmother was Havanna (ORMAN) Brumfield. Her family was supposed to have come from Indiana. Her mother (name unknown) could speak a foreign language (also unknown), and my g-grandmother had always said that she was "Slop-Bucket Dutch", whatever that means. My father tells me that GG-Grandpa ORMAN described himself as a "full-blood" Irishman. My g-grandmother Havanna (ORMAN) Brumfield moved to AR--where/when she married Ernest Clifton Brumfield?--then they moved to Oklahoma and remained until their deaths. They are buried in Okmulgee Cemetery in/near Okmulgee, OK. Any help in finding out more would be appreciated. Thanks!
