"I recently completed autosomal DNA testing at Ancestry. One of my autosomal matches was with a descendent of Zachariah G. Trent. I know that I am descended from James Burton Trent. We were pegged as 4th-6th cousins based upon the testing. Presuming that Charity Burton was the mother of James Burton Trent, and that she was the mother of Zachariah G. Trent, the two of us would be 6th cousins. As far as I can tell from our genealogies, we do not share any other common ancestor. So, this should provide some strong evidence that Charity Burton was the actual mother of James Burton Trent.David Jones"
