My wife (Cindy Riley Bergstrom)is related to you most assuredly. We only know of one child Aaron Bussard born March 12, 1839. He was buried in Atlantic Cemetery, Cass County, Iowa in the western part of the state. His wife's name was Lydia (maiden name unknown).
It appears that Aaron may have been a minister. There is (Rev.) noted by his name on the record we found via Ancestry.com. Aaron & Lydia had a daughter Sarah Viola or Viola Sarah (there are variations in Census records). However, we found her as Viola S.having died in 1942 in Los Angeles. We just received her death certificate two days ago. Viola was born in Bangor, PA. Aaron and Lydia are both noted as having been born in Susquehanna County, PA..Viola had married Eugene W. Keeney. They had 7 daughters and 1 son as far as we knew. However, we suspect at least one additional son. The name shows up as "informant" on the Death Certificate. One of Eugene and Viola's daughters was my wife's maternal grandmother
I just learned Barbara'sOverholt maiden name tonight- no more than 10 minutes ago through rootsweb.com's Louisa County Cemeteries pages. So I was totally shocked to see your inquiry. Obviously I'm late for your trip. However, would love to exchange info and update you with descendant information in detail. Please E-mail direct if you wish to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Best regards, Eric Bergstrom
