This is a nice summation of the Pace's association to Bristol Parish of Prince George Co. A John Pace first shows up in Surry Co. Va. in 1703, listed with 2 slaves and no others. This suggests to me that John may have met Elizabeth Lowe in NC, and that George Pace moved to his Grandfathers land from there. Do you have any documentation that John Pace married in Henrico or Prince George? Another head scratcher for me is the fact that William Lowe was not yet the age of majority in 1682. His father returned a deed of gift for William to be held by John Wilson while he returned to England. If John Pace was the son of Richard and Mary Pace of Westover Parish, then he must have been born before 1676. This means John was about the age or older than William Lowe. Doesn't make sense. The John and Richard Pace who patented land in NC are described as being from Lawnes Creek Parish of Surry Co. This is much more in line with the John Pace in Surry co. in 1703, and eliminates the age similarities of William Lowe and John Pace making him a more likely husband to Elizabeth Lowe.
