Hey Jennifer. I'm not aware of any connection to Boston, but I suppose it's a possibility. I know my family of Pacelli's (with the exception of one unknown sibling) were living in Brooklyn from the 1900 Census until at least 1930. They were Francesco & Jennie Pacelli (born in 1840s) with their children Joseph/Angelo (b. about 1881) & Grazia/Grace (b. about 1887). I know there's another sibling because the Census (1900 I think) said that there was a child not living with the family. What struck me about your family was the part about someone being a barber or owning a barbershop, since Joseph/Angelo was a barber and I know there were other barbers in the family. I'm pretty sure they worked as barbers in Brooklyn, although I also had heard about someone in the family on the Pacelli side being a detective/police officer and another owning some sort of fruitstand. Joseph/Angelo is buried in St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY (Long Island) with his wife Viola/Violet. Do you have any idea who Alfred C's parents were? Dominic doesn't ring a bell.
