I am researching Congregationalism and seeking information on MRS. MARGARET R. PAKE, a very early Congregational minister in America. She was originally ordained in 1877, but possibly by another denomination before being recognized by Congregationalists. [I am not clear on this at present.]
--In 1893 she was called to serve Congregational churches in Fifield and Butternut, Wisconsin. --In 1901 she was living in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.
--In 1908 she served a Congregational church in Laurel, Florida. Her husband may have been EDWIN M. PAKE who was a Deacon in that church. --She may have lived for a time in Alabama.
--She was reported as living in Buck Lake, Florida in 1914.
