Clara Palmquist was my great-grandmother on my father's father's sided. She was married first to a Charles Charlson, and then to my great-grandfather, Peter Palmquist. She was born in abt 1839. Her parents were born in Sweden. She had two children with Charlson. They were Charles Charlson, born about 1864 in Sweden, and Ticla Charlson, born abt 1966, also in Sweden. Clara and Charles Sr were both born in Sweden. Clara and Peter had six children, as follows: Ida (B abt 1870 in Ind.); Gunda (B abt 1872 in Mn); Annie (B about 1873 in Mn); Eugene (b. abt 1875 in Mn); Gust, or Gustavus B (My grandfather) (B abt 1877 in IA); and Amanda (B abt 1879 in IA)This information was from the LDS web site www.familysearch.org, Family History Library Film 125433, NA Film # T9-0333 Pg # 231B. The Source Information was the 1880 US Census, Census Place Spencer, Clay Co. Iowa.
