thanks that sounds about right my grandma was born in 1887 her older sister Enrica is seven years older so that could be them The name is Matteo we had no clue of the maiden name of Maria it wasn't on anything we had here.So good to get this info as my sister and I are taking a tour of Italy later this year and will be close enough to visit Vermiglio if we can arrange it.Smalzi will be one more name to check on,but the dates sure look right.
