Thank you so much for your reply.
Unfortunately, I believe the Jean-Jacques-Damien Paquin and the Josephine Godin in the tree are the wrong ones. This information came from the work of Reginald L Paquin of Rhode Island, and his information about the younger generation of siblings (Jean-Baptiste, Céline, Henri, Amelia, Omer-Joseph, and Delia) is mostly correct, but his ascription of them to parents J-J-Damien and Josephine Godin is mostly likely not correct.
I am more certain that our Damien Paquin is the one born 28 December 1842 (along with twin Calixte) in St-Jude, St-Hyacinthe to parents Paul Paquin and Thérèse Larue. It is apparent that many siblings from this family all emigrated to Massachusetts, then Connecticut, and finally Rhode Island during the 1860s. I have located many of these immigrants in the records of Putnam, Connecticut, as well as of Central Falls, Lincoln, and Providence, Rhode Island. I am currently working out the details, and intend to validate my information by visiting St Mary's church in Putnam, where the original baptismal records are.
