Its great to see this activity and I hope to contribute!
Last year's reasearch uncovered vistas of Ario's military forrays into the deep south.
After he defied Geary, his men saluted and cheered Ario and then went on to destroy everything in their path on the march towards Atlanta.
Ario's troup ended up in a place called Peachtree City, but a few miles from where I live now in Dunwoody GA.
Then he got Pardee Field named after him in Gettysburgh and awarded Colonel rank by Abe Lincoln.
The PA military and civil records uncovered this military information but nothing else.
I would be happy to trade copies from Dear Pa and such with you.
Is there any way to attach files to these messages?
Thanks and take care
