Nashua Telegraph, Nashua NH Jean Luc Parent, 89, of Miami Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009, after a brief illness. He was the former husband of the late Yvette (Messier) Parent.
Born in Canada, he was the son of the late Phillip and Lea (Gendreau) Parent. He worked in auto body repairs for many years and started his own business called One Man Company. He moved to Florida 25 years ago to enjoy his retirement. He enjoyed the warm weather, the sun, and the ocean. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include eleven children, Jean Marc Parent and his wife, Lise of N.H., Michelle Medeiros of Fall River, Diane Brightman and her husband, Charles Gunning Jr., of Dart., Roger Parent and his wife, Magui of Ariz., George Parent and his wife, Leslie of Dart., Christine Guidry and her husband, Jim of Ala., Edward Parent of N.H., Gerald Parent of Wis., Therese Sorenson of Acushnet, Francois Parent of N.H., and Lucie Bolenbarker and her husband, Jim of Tenn.; thirty grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was the last survivor of twelve siblings.
According to his wishes, he will be cremated. Private services will be held at a future date.
