I've been researching these names for years and in particular the Vermont groups. One group of Pariseaus who adopted the name Delphia started and still reside in Bridport Vermont and elsewhere.Another group started in New Haven Vermont and I'm in touch with their descendants. Yet a third group established themselves in the Rudland area. All are clearly descendants of the Dalpe dit Pariseau clan in Quebec, which has been extensively researched, some of which can be viewed by typing http://www.mbbnet.umn.edu/hoff/perrizo/http://www.mbbnet.umn.edu/hoff/perrizo/
The Perrizo's are a very large, very active branch of the Dalpe dit Pariseau descendants who chose a different last name variation.
There Website contains a vast amount of information and links on this Quebec family that started with Jean Delpue in Montreal. He had a larger number of children, who inturn had lots of children who choose many different last names. In some cases, you would find brothers and sisters using different last names, or different spellings. My own grandfather used several different spellings. But most in Vermont now use Delphia.
