John, sixth in descent from Thomas, dying without male issue his daughter and heir, Anne, married ___Barker, who resided at the Hall in 1667.Thus the male branch became extinct.
From a younger son descended Thomas, 1st Earl of Macclesfield, and from the same family the Parkers of Little Norton appear to have branched about the time of Elizabeth.
John Parker of Little Norton, in Derbyshire, living in Elizabeth's reign, was the father of John Parker, esq. of Little Norton and Jordenthorpe, baptised 4th Sep. 1575 who m.24th August 1601, Dionysia, daughter of Thomas Bright, esq...."
"Rowland Parker, esq. of Little Norton and Jordenthorpe, baptised8th January 1640-1who left by Elisabeth, his wife (she was buried6th April 1692)three sons and a daughter viz. John, Samuel, baptised15th November 1666."
Another record said Jennet Carrier m. her 2nd cousin Thomas Parker, Lord Chef Justice, Earl of Macclesfield.
Then, it continues listing Mary, daughter of Richard Sunderland, of Yorkshire by Mary his wife,6th daughter of Sir Richard Saltonstall married Edward Parker28 Jan 1629.
William Parker born 1622 m. his 2nd cousin Bridget Carrier-issue George Parker of Parkhall (Parkhill?) Stffordshire.
Bridget Carrier's mother Elizabeth Parker married 2nd James Carryer, Bridget's father.
"Burke" lists a Thomas Parker, son of John Parker of Little Norton bap. Mar 31, 1609 who died at Reading in 1683.

What this shows me is that there were many of the "Browsholme" branches who came to America. They have been researched very well but few could actually tell me where in England they emigrated from in England. Follow the ydna.
P145 Elisha Parker born about 1630 and died at Barnstable Mass. or vicinity of Perth Amboy N.J. He married Elizabeth Hinckley.
PO1 Robert Parker born about 1630 England, lived in Barnstable, Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts also. He married 1st Sarah James and then Patience Cobb.
Both of these ancestors placed in Group #5.
Abundance of manuscripts detailing these families and all say they go back to the illustrious Browsholme Parker lines.
Now to decipher those in Northampton county, Rowan county etc.
