I've been working on the Parlows for a while. All the MA Parlows seem to be descended from the Thomas you mention, who lived in Beverly, then Middleborough. His descendants then were in Rochester.Unfortunately, the records in Rochester get erratic in the mid-1700s.
I'm descended from David Parlow whose wife was also a Catherine Wing.I haven't been able to figure out who David's parents were.My current operating assumption (based on zero evidence I might add) is that David (b. 1773) was perhaps a brother of your Jonathan, maybe both sons of William, Jr. (1732-1818).
William, Jr. had a son Thomas (b. 1758) who had a son named Jonathan (b. 1796).My theory is your Jonathan died between 1789 (birth of daughter Susan) and 1796 when the other Jonathan was born, presumably named after him.The widow Catherine (Wing) Parlow then married David (their first child was born 1799).
Do you know anything about Jonathan Parlow (birth or death) or have any other information that might support or undermine my theory? What were the names of Elkanah and Susan's children?
