it looks like one of the oldest sons' of my gggg grandfather was a L.D Parrot on theremovalrollof 1835 in Ga. . his motherprobably a mary polly. his full sister married JOhn Boggs .
LD'sdad is probablyshoeboots , dasigiyagi = hard shellturtle.
salliecookiewalah =turtle at home . and some of the other names listed about are histoo.
it is recorded that his oldest son lived inand was respected in I thinkKY ( maybeor TN I can't remember)
and no ever recorded any of hisfirst kids names except the daughter that marriedJohn boggs.
so no one has knownwhothesonwas .
soifyou can put yourJOhn ( a very common name in the family along with all L , LLand EL names first names .
MY guess is that L D stands forLewis(maybe middle namemaybe dasigiyagi)could also be Lloyd, or Leonard.
what I don't know is if shoebootsoldest sonkeeps the parrotname or if he uses his mom mary'sreal maidenname. or a variation onone of shoeboots names.
hope fully this canbe a spring board for moreresearch for you family.
it is the most bizarre things I have ever seen. I was told ofhow" belovedthe family was andlike no one knows they are related to them now days . it is very sadI think.
maybe that will help you with some clues to search out.
oh sheobootsgoes to live with the shawneein 17 95 so his firsr son would be bornfrom 1775ish to 1793ish.
heisn't in the nation in 1824. that is a very importantthing to prove he isthe son ofshoeboots. Ld could still begrandson of shoeboots. butmost likelyhe is son andwasn't in the nation in 1824.
which means that he may have stayed with the shawnee inKYfor awhilemaybe have shawnee kids etc.in shawnee recordsthere is a widow bootsrecord in the 1700's , no children mentioned . . then maybe LD came back toGA around thetime of shoeboots death which was 1824. he would havehad rights to some property, slaves etc.
so hopefull this is a spring board you need tohelp you find, or link toMY family
