Obituary for Peter Pass
Peter Pass, an aged and respected resident of Chapel Hill, died at his home June 1st, of pneumonia, aged 81 years.Mr. Pass was born in England and came to this country when a young man, and for over fifty years has resided on the farmwhere he died.He is survived by his wife and son, T.W. Pass, and many friends to mourn his loss.He has been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of that place for many years and was loved and respected by all.The funeral was held at the Chapel Wednesday at 2p.m.
Obituary for Percilla Eastham Pass
Percilla Eastham Pass, widow of the late Peter Pass, died at the home of her son, Thomas Pass, August 13, 1911, aged 84 years, 10 months.
She had been in a feeble condition for a long time, due to the general wearing out of old age.She was born at Prestion, England, September 28, 1826, and early in life, with Mr. Pass, came tothis country.
They settled on one of the farms recently owned by Lafayette Crum, but after a little exchanged for the one on which Thomas Pass lives, and where she has lived ever since.She was a woman much loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed in the home circle.Funeral
services were held Tuesday with burial at the Chapel Hill cemetery.

Thomas W. Pass, a well-known farmer, died on Friday, Dec., 26, after a long illness at his home on Cass hill in the town of Candor, aged 63years.His funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the house, Rev.Walter Cutter officiating, assisted by Rev. S. D. Galpin.The burial was in Maple Grove cemetery at Candor.Mr. Pass was born April 5,1861, on the farm on which he lived at the time of his death.In his early youth he became a member of the Chapel hill Methodist Episcopal church, and was henceforth an active worker of this church.He leaves a wife;two sons, Peter and Richard Pass, of Candor, and two daughters, Mrs. R.W. Stevenson nof Wellsburg, and Mrs. Floyd Hosford, of Newark Valley.

Mrs. Minnie Allen Pass, aged 69 years, widow of Thomas W. Pass, died on Saturday morning,Jan. 22, in Wellsburg, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.W. Stevenson, after an extended illness.She was the daughter of Charles W. and Polly Tuttle Allen and was born in Ithaca,Aug. 2, 1863.She had spent her life in Candor, Tuttle Hill and Cass
Hill, where she lived 43 years.She had been a faithful member of the Methodist Chapel Hill Church, since her girlhood days.She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rarey W. Stevenson, of Wellsburg, and Mrs. Floyd Hosford of Newark Valley;two sons, Peter E. Pass and Richard A. Pass, of Candor; one brother, Eugene Allen, of Sayre, PA.;
also seven grandchildren, Martha and Mildred Stevenson, Helen Hosford, Allen Donald, Dorothy and Eleanor Pass.The funeral is being held in the Baptist Church in this village, this (Tuesday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.The Rev. Floyd Richards,of Berkshire, and the Rev. C.R.
Knight, of Tioga Center and Straits Corners officiate at the service. The burial will be made in Maple Grove Cemetery.
